Supporting the Warkworth Museum

The Warkworth Museum is a self-funding charitable organisation and without the help of our members and volunteers we would not be able to continue to grow and develop our exhibits and offer a great experience for visitors.

As a community built Museum, we aim to conserve and preserve the history of our local area and we could not do this without your support.

You can support us in number ways including becoming a volunteer, making donations/bequests or by becoming a Museum member.

Museum History 01

Support Warkworth Museum’s Future-Proofing Project

At Warkworth Museum, we’re proud to preserve and share the history of our region. As a self-funded museum, your support is vital to help us stay relevant in a changing world and ensure our collections, artefacts, and stories are cared for and shared meaningfully with the community.

Over the past five years, we’ve grown and developed, improving our facilities and attracting more visitors. Now, we’re preparing for the future with essential upgrades to our main building, including a lift to provide internal access to our upstairs displays, Archive and Research Centre, and Textiles Department.

Your generosity enriches lives and inspires future generations

To make this vision a reality, we’ve launched a “Givealittle page” for donations, or you can donate directly to our bank account. Every contribution, big or small, helps us move closer to our goals. Excess or shortfall funds will go toward other vital projects, such as re-roofing or enhancing access to our collections.

Thank you for supporting Warkworth Museum as we continue to care for our history and inspire the generations that follow us.

Membership

We have a committed group of Museum members who support us through their annual subscriptions. Membership of the Warkworth Museum offers real value and is a great way of keeping up with our activities and ensuring the history of the area is preserved for future generations.
