Tea & Talk: Nathaniel Wilson and the Wilson Cement Works

Many thanks go to Ian Ferguson on his very interesting talk about Nathaniel Wilson and the Wilson Cement works. A great deal of research went into this presentation, using many of the resources we have at the museum and in our archives.

The talk was enhanced by James Wallace, a former employee of Wilson Cement, who donated items to the Museum which he had obtained after Fletchers took over the company and named it Golden Bay. These treasures that are now in the Museum and include blueprints of the original Wilsons Cement Works dating back to 1906.
